Marappachi Dairy, founded in 2019, is a Tamil Nadu-based dairy brand whose name was inspired by traditional Marappachi wooden toys which is gifted by every mother to her daughter on her marriage and passed on to next generation. Committed to providing pure and unadulterated milk, Marappachi Dairy supports local farmers and aims to drive rural prosperity.
Brief
Rejuvenate the brand by making a consistent brand identity and enhancing its market presence, reinforcing its commitment to delivering pure, unadulterated milk and premium dairy products.
Mission
To provide pure, unadulterated milk to every consumer, addressing the prevalent issue of adulteration in the market.They are committed to ensuring trust and transparency in every drop of milk delivered (and now milk products as well).
Vision
To support farmers by enhancing their income, aligning with governmental initiatives aimed at rural prosperity. Aim to uplift rural communities by creating sustainable livelihoods and empowering dairy farmers through fair practices and collaboration.

This brand has two logos, the second one being the redesigned one. Old logo is still in use for certain products which makes the brand identity inconsistent.

English logo ensures broader recognition and accessibility, Tamil logo honours the brand's Tamil Nadu roots and resonates with local audiences.



Secondary Logo
Secondary logo simplifies branding for wider applications, such as packaging, marketing, and digital platforms, where English is more universally understood.
Mascot
Marappachi Dairy wanted to retain the cow element from their old logo, inspired by Marappachi wooden toys, The mascot, inspired by Marappachi wooden toys, keeps the cow element intact. Designed in playful poses, it blends tradition with modernity, reflecting purity and cultural heritage.

Typeface
For English, Museo Sans and Acumin Variable offer a clean and contemporary look, readability. For Tamil, Alankaram Plain and Akruti Tamil were chosen as they compliment the english typefaces.

Colour Palette
The primary colours for the logo are blue and white, symbolising trust, purity, and simplicity. A variety of colours are used for the packaging, because a dairy offers a wide range of products, each requiring distinct visual identity for easy recognition.
